The AM150 uses a Class-D amplifier to provide 150 watts of power to the 5'' full-range speaker for loud and clear sound quality, while keeping overall weight to a minimum, about 6 pounds. Three input channels with a built-in mixer makes the AM150 more than just a simple monitor. Channel 1 can be optimized at the press of a button for instrument input with no DI box required. Channels 1 and 2 both feature high-quality mic preamps, both will accept mic or line level signals, XLR or 1/4'' balanced or unbalanced, and both can provide phantom power for condenser mics. Channel 3 accepts L/R RCA inputs or 3.5 mm stereo input so you can play background music for your presentation or breaks between sets.

Multiple AM150s can be linked together as well, using the MAIN IN and THRU XLR jacks on the back of the cabinet. This allows AM150s to be daisy-chained, so you can use one as a monitor, then add more AM150s as main PA speakers for small rooms, speaking engagements or performance. Another great feature of the AM150 is the Echo (delay) effect which can be applied to channels 1 and 2.

The small size and light weight of the AM150 allows it to go where conventional monitors simply cannot. Like, on your mic stand! An extension rod is included, so you can mount a standard mic boom to the top of the AM150 and have one less stand to worry about. Mic stand is not included.
