The Yamaha Rio1608-D2 is a high-performance I/O Rack unit with built-in Dante audio networking. Designed and manufactured to achieve outstanding sonic transparency in keeping with Yamaha’s “natural sound” philosophy, it plays a vital role in supporting the performance capabilities of the associated console, offers extensive freedom for placement and multi-unit combinations, and allows redundancy for high reliability. The Rio1608-D2 is not only a standard component of the RIVAGE PM7 Digital Mixing System but is also fully compatible with CL and QL series digital mixing consoles, offering excellent audio and operational performance that makes the most of Dante networking potential. This high-capacity, high-performance I/O rack features 16 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs and is compatible with Yamaha CL and QL series consoles as well as the RIVAGE PM series. The Rio1608-D2 connects directly to Dante digital audio networks, allowing flexible system configuration. Dual power supply units are built in for high reliability, and a character/graphic display offers easy visual confirmation.
