Based upon the classic ‘47 that has been used on countless hit records for the last 50+ years, Warm Audio's WA-47 is a large diaphragm, large condenser, all vacuum tube, transformer balanced, multi-pattern (9) microphone. It's designed to deliver professional quality sound in pro studios, home studios, live performance, and broadcast use, providing top sound quality on vocals, acoustic/electric guitars, acoustic/electric bass, drums, piano, strings, brass/woodwind instruments, and a wide array of other sources. The classic ‘47 became extremely popular in the 1960’s and is now considered one of the greatest microphones ever made. It's still widely in use today in professional recording studios but has become extremely rare and expensive to acquire. The WA-47 answers the need for that classic sound, but much more within reach of a more extensive user base.

True '47 Style Capsule
Utilizing a custom adaptation of the vintage k47 style capsule that was used in the classic ‘47 microphone, the WA-47 is engineered with the same hole pattern and frequency response. Every Warm Audio capsule is built in the same small assembly house, in a clean-room environment, then packaged in its own protective case till the moment it's loaded into the microphone. Each capsule is visually inspected and electrically tested for quality.
